ECCC’s Keeton to Join MS Community College Sports Hall of Fame

Morton native Rex Keeton, a 1964 graduate of East Central Community College, will be among 15 inductees into the 2023 Class of the Mississippi Community College Sports Hall of Fame during ceremonies scheduled Tuesday, April 25, at the Muse Center in Pearl.

Casey Pastor-Aguilar and Jocey Bell, both of Forest, were named Mr. and Miss ECCC for 2022-23 by vote of the student body.
ECCC to Host Student Art Exhibit April 3-20

East Central Community College will host its annual Student Art Exhibition April 3-20 in the Vickers Fine Arts Center on the Decatur campus. An opening reception will be held from 1:30 to 3 p.m. on Thursday, April 6.
The exhibit will feature drawings, paintings, sculptures, and designs produced by EC students during the 2022-23 school year. The show will be juried, and the winners will be posted in Vickers Lobby with ribbons attached to the works.

East Central Community College hosted the annual Beauty Pageant in Huff Auditorium in Decatur last week with over 20 contestants participating in the event.

The East Central Community College Encore Players will present "Beauty and the Beast" at 7 p.m. Thursday through Friday, March 30 - April 1, and at 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 2.
