The East Central Community College Warriors wrapped up the 2020-21 season Friday, May 14, with a tough loss to the Hinds Eagles, the MACCC North Division winners, 3-2. The loss drops the Warriors to a 4-7-2 overall record on the year. Hinds finished the regular season 7-4.

The East Central Community College Warriors and the Co-Lin Wolves battled hard for 110 minutes May 6, but no winner could be determined as the game ended in a 1-1 draw. The tie moves the Warriors' record to 3-6-2 and Co-Lin to 4-4-2.

The action was back-and-forth on Wednesday night, May 5, as the East Central Warriors rallied from a 1-0 deficit with two unanswered goals to grab a 2-1 victory over the Itawamba Indians.

Ethan Paschal, a Poplarville, Miss. native, has been named as the new East Central Community College head coach of the men's soccer program. Paschal will follow long-time coach, Kenneth Thompson, who announced his retirement prior to the start of the 2020-21 season.

The Holmes Bulldogs (2-4) defeated the East Central Community College Warriors (2-4-1), 4-2, in a very physical, hard-fought match April 23.
Holmes took a lead early lead as the Bulldogs netted three goals late in the first half. The scores came on a penalty kick from Lando Nichols and shots from Darrell Grantham and Andres Mendez.

The Warriors of East Central Community College fell to 2-3-1 on the season on Sunday afternoon, April 18, as the Mississippi Gulf Coast Bulldogs got a 3-1 victory. The match was held on Gulf Coast's turf football field at A.L. May Memorial Stadium due to wet weather.

The Warriors of East Central Community College lost a tough one on Tuesday night, April 6, to the Pearl River Community College Wildcats, 2-1. The loss drops ECCC to 1-1 on the year after they defeated Meridian last week 2-0.

The last time the East Central Community College Warriors soccer team took the field was Tuesday, October 22, 2019. Now, 17 long months later, the Warriors are ready to get back into action and play the game they love.
