Two East Central Community College women’s soccer players signed National Letters of Intent Wednesday, Dec. 7, to continue the careers at Mississippi College in Clinton.
Defender Gabby Gross, a product of Lewisburg High School, and goalkeeper Kaitlyn Knuth, a product of West Lauderdale High School, will remain teammates on the Lady Choctaw’s women’s soccer team.

The East Central Community College women’s soccer team ended its season after falling 1-0 to Pearl River Community College in overtime of the quarterfinals of the MACJC playoffs Tuesday, Oct. 25, in Bailey Stadium in Decatur.
Coach Gray Massey’s East Central squad finished the season 12-4 overall and 6-2 in the North Division.
This year’s team had the best start in school history at 9-0. The women have finished in the second place in the MACJC North Division three years in a row.

The East Central Community College women’s soccer team finished regular season play on a high note with a 6-0 win over Hinds Community College Wednesday, Oct. 19, at the Soccer Complex on the Decatur campus.
Sophomore Kenzie Jenkins of McLaurin High School began the scoring for ECCC off an assist by TaNissa McNair of Forest High School.
Defender Gabby Gross of Lewisburg High School added another first half score for East Central.

The East Central Community College women’s soccer team fell 1-0 on the road against Holmes Community College Friday, Oct. 14, in Ridgeland.
The loss dropped ECCC to 11-3 on the season and 5-2 in the MACJC North Division.
East Central and Holmes remained scoreless during the first half, but the Lady Bulldogs were able to score two minutes into the second half for the only goal they would need.

The East Central Community College women’s soccer team moved to 11-2 on the season and 5-1 in the North Division with an 8-0 victory over the Northwest Mississippi Community College Lady Rangers Friday, Oct. 7, at the ECCC Soccer Complex.

A goal by freshman forward Sierra Maness with one minute to play sent the match into overtime before Itawamba Community College scored the golden goal in the second extra period to win a MACJC North Division soccer match against East Central Community College Oct. 5 in Fulton.

The East Central Community College women’s soccer team fell to No. 11 nationally ranked Jones County Junior College 5-0 Friday, Sept. 30, in Ellisville and went on to beat Jacksonville College of Jacksonville, Texas 3-1 Saturday, Oct. 1, in Perkinston.
In the matchup with Jacksonville, the Panthers jumped on the board first before Warrior freshman Sierra Maness of Corinth High School tied up the match with 32 minutes left in the first half.

The East Central Community College women’s soccer team remained undefeated on the season with a 5-0 non-division win over the Meridian Community College’s Lady Eagles in Bailey Stadium in Decatur on Wednesday, Sept. 28.
The win improved East Central’s record to 9-0 on the season. It is the longest winning streak in program history, topping last year’s then-record eight straight victories to open the 2015 season.

The East Central Community College women’s soccer team beat Pearl River Community College 1-0 in two overtimes in non-division action Friday, Sept. 23.
The victory over the defending MACJC state champions improved ECCC to 8-0 on the season.
The match remained scoreless through 90 minutes and had to go into double overtime before freshman forward Sierra Maness of Corinth High School was able to score with four minutes remaining.
