The East Central Community College basketball programs are hosting the annual MLK Classic Saturday, Jan. 19, to commemorate the Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday.

The MLK Classic will be held in Brackeen-Wood Gym on the Decatur campus. Admission is $8 per person.

An open tryout for the 2019 East Central Community College men’s soccer team will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 15, at Bailey Stadium on the Decatur campus, announced head men’s soccer coach Kenneth Thompson.

Players will need to bring their own equipment to workout in for the afternoon. All players will have to sign a waiver of liability in order to participate in the tryouts and provide a copy of a current physical.

ECCC Invites Students at Neshoba County High Schools to Jan. 31 Basketball Games

All students at high schools in Neshoba County are invited to a special “Be Our Guest” night when the East Central Community College women’s and men’s basketball teams face Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College on Thursday, Jan. 31, in Brackeen-Wood Gymnasium on the ECCC campus in Decatur.

All students at high schools in Newton County are invited to a special “Be Our Guest” night when the East Central Community College women’s and men’s basketball teams face Southwest Mississippi Community College on Monday, Jan. 28, in Brackeen-Wood Gymnasium on the ECCC campus in Decatur.

The East Central Lady Warriors will battle the Southwest Lady Bears at 5:30 p.m., followed by the ECCC Warriors and the Southwest Bears at 7:30 p.m.

There is still time to register for spring semester Full-Term and Intensive Term I online courses at East Central Community College in Decatur.

The last day to register for Spring 2019 Full-Term Online courses is Wednesday, Jan. 23. Classes begin on Tuesday, Jan. 22, and end Friday, May 3, 2019.

The East Central Lady Warriors will battle the Co-Lin Lady Wolves at 5:30 p.m., followed by the ECCC Warriors and the Co-Lin Wolves at 7:30 p.m.
