East Central Community College will offer courses in Small Engine Repair and Core & Industrial Maintenance beginning in January in Philadelphia.
Registration is open now through January 10 for Small Engine Repair, which begins January 11, 2022. Classes will meet from 5 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday nights for 10 consecutive weeks in the Old US Motors Building located at 1224 North Pecan Avenue in Philadelphia. The cost of the class is $150.

The East Central Community College Lady Warriors were unable to hand Coahoma Community College their first loss of the 2021-22 season, despite leading by six in the fourth quarter. The Lady Warriors, with a limited roster due to injuries, left it all on the floor on Monday night, Dec. 6, but fell to 4-5 on the year while the Lady Tigers improved to 7-0 after the 68-63 win.

New and returning students attending East Central Community College in Decatur in Fall 2022 can now apply online for scholarships offered through the ECCC Foundation.
The deadline to apply is Noon on Friday, Feb. 18, 2022.

The Lady Warriors of East Central Community College fell to 0-1 in conference play on Thursday night, Dec. 2, as the Pearl River Lady Wildcats remained undefeated on the year with a 76-49 victory. ECCC drops to 4-4 on the season, while PRCC moved to 7-0.

East Central Community College in Decatur will close for the Christmas holidays beginning Wednesday, Dec. 15, 2021.
Offices will reopen at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2022.
Orientation for new students for the spring 2022 term will be held Thursday, Jan. 6, beginning at 9 a.m. in the Vickers Fine Arts Center auditorium. Day and evening classes for the spring semester begin on Monday, Jan. 10.

The East Central Community College Warriors lost a heartbreaker to Coahoma Community College on Monday night, Nov. 29, 82-80, to fall to 2-4 on the year. The Warriors are back at home this Thursday, December 2 as ECCC host Pearl River Community College at 6 p.m. to tipoff MACCC play.

A strong second and third quarter was the difference-maker for the East Central Lady Warriors on Monday night, Nov. 29, as the team topped the Coastal Alabama-North Lady Eagles, 60-56, in front of a noisy home crowd in Decatur. The victory moved the Lady Warriors to 4-3 on the year and gives the team some momentum heading into the MACCC play beginning on Thursday.
