The 2019 seasons ended for the East Central Community College soccer teams as the Lady Warriors and Warriors both lost to their opponents from Jones College in the MACJC Quarterfinals in matches played Tuesday, Oct. 22, at Bobcat Soccer Field on the Jones campus in Ellisville.

The ECCC Lady Warriors lost 2-1 to the Lady Bobcats in a match that went 90 minutes of regulation, two 10-minute overtime periods, and into penalty kicks where Jones came out on top 3-2. The Warriors fell 7-0 to Jones in the men’s match.

East Central Community College will honor military veterans at its annual Military Appreciation Breakfast Thursday, Nov. 7, 2019, on the Decatur campus.

The annual event begins with a complimentary breakfast at 7 a.m. in the Gold Room of Mabry Cafeteria. All community veterans are encouraged to attend.

The East Central Lady Warriors qualified for postseason play in their final MACJC North Division soccer match of the season with a 3-1 road win over Northwest in Senatobia on Oct. 15.

The ECCC Warriors will have to wait until Oct. 17 to learn their postseason fate after falling 3-1 to the Northwest Rangers in the second match of the afternoon.
