The East Central Community College tennis teams returned to winning form with a sweep of MACJC conference foe Southwest on Friday, Feb. 14, at the Tennis Complex on the ECCC campus in Decatur.

The East Central Community College basketball teams got back in the win column with a sweep of the teams from Meridian Community College Thursday, Feb. 13, in Brackeen-Wood Gym on the campus in Decatur.

Jones College completed the season basketball sweep of East Central Community College with a pair of wins Monday, Feb. 10, on their home court of A.B. Howard Gymnasium in Ellisville.

The No. 10 Jones Lady Bobcats won the opener over the Lady Warriors 72-59. The Jones Bobcats picked up a 93-65 win over the ECCC Warriors in the second game of the night.

ECCC’s new Warrior Hall football operations center.

East Central Community College will officially open its new Warrior Hall football operations center with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 1 p.m. on Thursday, March 5, on the campus in Decatur.

For the second consecutive day, the nationally ranked East Central Community College tennis teams found themselves on the courts with two other nationally ranked teams. This time it was Marion Military Institute, and the hosts of Marion, Ala., grabbed a pair of victories Saturday, Feb. 9.

The No. 14 Marion women picked up an 8-1 win over the No. 20 Lady Warriors, while the No. 13 Marion Tigers won 6-3 over the No. 21 East Central men.
