The East Central Community College Fine Arts Division will host its annual “Christmas Spectacular” at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2019, in Huff Auditorium. Tickets are $10 per person. Children under 6 will be admitted free.
ECCC Gospel Choir Concert Scheduled Dec. 4

The East Central Community College Gospel Choir will present its annual fall concert at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2019, in the Vickers Fine Arts Center Auditorium on the Decatur campus. Admission is free and the public is invited to attend.
ECCC Basketball Teams Swept in Non-Division Action at East Mississippi

The East Central Community College basketball teams made the short drive to Scooba Thursday, Nov. 14, and were swept by the homestanding East Mississippi Community College teams in MACJC non-division action.
The EMCC Lady Lions won the opener 73-57, while the East Central men fell 88-85 to the Lions.
The Lady Lions blew open a close game with a big second period. EMCC led the ECCC Lady Warriors 17-16 after 10 minutes of play, before the Lady Lions went on a 21-6 run to take a 38-22 halftime lead and control of the game.
ECCC Baseball Players Sign With 4-Year Programs

Two East Central Community College baseball players today signed National Letters of Intent to continue their academic and athletic careers at four-year programs.
ECCC President Dr. Billy Stewart Announces Retirement

East Central Community College President Dr. Billy Stewart today announced his retirement effective July 1, 2020.
The announcement was made at the monthly Board of Trustees meeting on the Decatur campus.
East Central Community College to Name New Band Hall in Memory of Tom Carson

The proposed new Band Hall at East Central Community College in Decatur will be named the Thomas W. Carson Band Hall when construction of the 13,000-square-foot facility is complete.
The ECCC Board of Trustees unanimously approved the naming at its Nov. 12 meeting on campus.
