East Central Community College Golf Coach Chris Clark has added another honor to the Warriors’ highly successful 2017-18 golf season, this time being named the Mississippi Association of Coaches Community College Golf Co-Coach of the Year.

Clark will be honored at the MAC Hall of Fame Banquet June 22 in Jackson.

ECCC Offering Weekday Orientation Sessions Through August 2

New and transfer students planning to attend East Central Community College in fall 2018 can take advantage of Weekday Orientation sessions this summer on the Decatur campus.

Weekday Orientation is available Monday through Thursday from June 11 to Aug. 2 at either 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. or 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. The college will be closed July 4 for the Independence Day holiday. Fall 2018 classes begin on Monday, Aug. 13.

Chris Harris will complete his career as Dean of Personnel Services/Athletics at East Central Community College in Decatur at the end of June after a 14-year career, and his future plans include more time with his family, some possible mission trips and time spent on the family farm.

The Brown Bottling team won the Championship Flight and a record was set in money raised at the 17th Annual East Central Community College Warrior Golf Classic held May 11 at the Dancing Rabbit Golf Club, located on the Pearl River Resort in Choctaw.

The East Central Community College football program is hosting its 2018 Elite Warrior Football Camp on Wednesday, June 6, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Bailey Stadium on the campus in Decatur.

The non-contact camp is for high school players entering grades 8 through 12 in fall 2018. The cost is $50 per person and includes lunch and a camp T-shirt.
