It’s not too late to register for classes at East Central Community College in Decatur for the Spring 2017 Intensive Term II on-campus and online courses.

The last day to register for on-campus courses in the Spring 2017 Intensive Term II is Thursday, March 2. Classes begin on Wednesday, March 1, and end May 4.

Classes offered include Introduction to Architectural Design I, 3D Modeling, Intermediate English, English Composition I, College Algebra, Calculus II, and Public Speaking.

The East Central Community College Workforce Development Center will offer a Certified Nurse Aide course beginning Monday, March 20, 2017, on the Decatur campus.

Classes meet from 3:30 to 7:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday for six consecutive weeks. Clinical dates and times will be announced at a later date. Cost is $766 per person and includes all materials except the TB Skin Test.  Teresa Cole and Christy Wilson will serve as instructors.

The East Central Community College Workforce Development Center will offer a course in Manufacturing Safety at the Louisville Career Advancement Center in Louisville beginning March 6, 2017.

Classes meet from 8 a.m. to noon Monday through Thursday for two consecutive weeks. Cost is $25 per person and Chuck Fadale will serve as instructor.

The East Central Community College men’s basketball team clinched an MACJC State Tournament berth with an 87-80 win over Pearl River Community College Thursday, Feb. 16, in Brackeen-Wood Gymnasium in Decatur.

The East Central Community College women’s basketball team defeated the Pearl River Community College Lady Wildcats 78-69 Thursday, Feb. 16, in Brackeen-Wood Gymnasium on the Decatur campus.
