Peyton Ryals of Louisville and Jessica Everett of Decatur were selected Mr. and Miss East Central Community College for the 2017-18 school year by a recent vote of the student body.

The East Central Community College Division of Fine Arts will present numerous performing arts events during the month of April on the Decatur campus. There is no charge for admission and the public is invited to attend the following events:
April 4 – Delta State University Wind Ensemble, 4 p.m., Vickers Fine Arts Center Auditorium
April 9 – Collegians Spring Concert, 7 p.m., Huff Auditorium

The East Central Community College golfers moved up one spot on the second day of play to finish in fourth place at the Mississippi Association of Community and Junior Colleges Event No. 4 held March 5-6 at Northwood Country Club in Meridian.
As a team, the Warriors shot a 49-over par 617 over the two-day, 36-hole event.

East Central Community College will officially dedicate Lucille Wood Court at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, March 20, at the college’s new Tennis Complex on the campus in Decatur.
One of the eight courts at the new state-of-the-art complex is being named in recognition of Wood thanks to a gift to the college from members of her family.
The public is invited to attend the dedication ceremony.
